Adding to improve

The mission of the Las Cañadas Association of Municipalities is to guarantee the comprehensive provision of quality public services to all member municipalities, optimizing economic and technical resources through shared management. A person-centered model

Our vision is to establish ourselves as a benchmark in social innovation In rural areas, we aspire to build a supportive region where unwanted loneliness disappears and where community is the primary driver of protection. Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most frequently asked questions here.

What exactly is the Las Cañadas Commonwealth and what is its purpose?

It is a local public entity formed by the voluntary association of several municipalitiesIts main objective is to join forces and resources to manage shared services (such as social services, waste collection, or employment). By working together, we can offer higher quality and more efficient services than each municipality could provide separately.

Does the Commonwealth replace my City Council?

No, not at all. The Commonwealth does not replace your City Council, but rather... complementsYour City Council remains your closest administration, while the Commonwealth acts as a management tool that supports your municipality in specific areas where greater infrastructure or specialized personnel are required.

What advantages does being part of this network have for me as a resident?

The main advantage is the access to better servicesThanks to the union of the municipalities, a resident of a small town has access to the same equipment. social workers, machinery, or cultural programs than someone from a larger town. It's about territorial solidarity: we optimize public spending so that no one is left behind.
