Taking care of you
The Las Cañadas Association of Municipalities was created with the firm purpose of improving the quality of life for all our residents. We work daily, joining forces among our municipalities to guarantee efficient, accessible, and high-quality public services. Our priority is the overall well-being of families, ensuring that both our elders and future generations find here the best place to live, grow, and thrive.
Beneficiaries
We foster an active network of collaboration between towns. We promote healthy leisure programs, youth culture, and outdoor activities that highlight our natural environment and strengthen the social fabric of our region.
Professionals at your service
We have a multidisciplinary team of over 10 social workers and educators distributed throughout the region. We are here to listen to you, guide you, and manage the support you need with a humane, friendly, and confidential approach.
Adding to improve
The mission of the Las Cañadas Association of Municipalities is to guarantee the comprehensive provision of quality public services to all member municipalities, optimizing economic and technical resources through shared management. We work to eliminate territorial inequalities, ensuring that every resident, regardless of the size of their town, has access to the same rights, social welfare, and development opportunities.
Intervention Programs
We have developed more than 10 specific social intervention programs: from family and child support (ETF) to addiction prevention and the promotion of equality. We cover all stages of life so that no group is left without protection.
Areas of Intervention
Our mission is comprehensive. We don't just manage aid; we implement more than 10 specialized lines of action, including child protection, prevention of gender-based violence, social inclusion, and addressing loneliness among the elderly. We cover all stages of life.
A person-centered model
Our vision is to establish ourselves as a benchmark in social innovation In rural areas, we aspire to build a supportive region where unwanted loneliness disappears and where community is the primary driver of protection. We want to move from a welfare-based model to a preventative one that empowers citizens.
Volunteers
We envision a future where government and citizens work hand in hand. We want to expand neighborhood support networks and social volunteering across our more than 10 municipalities, creating safe and collaborative environments for raising children and aging.
Full Social Inclusion
We work with the vision of achieving full inclusion. We want a community free of physical and social barriers, where people with disabilities or at risk of vulnerability have real and effective participation in community life.
